Hokkaido Kushiro Wetland Adventure
Join our special adventure tour in Kushiro Wetland National Park.
You will stay in the wetland, and experience fantastic outdoor activities with lots of wildlife.
<Itinerary>
<Day 1>
Meeting at Kushiro airport at 9:30am
Welcome and meet your English/Chinese speaking guide at airport
Transfer by charter coach
Stop at Onnenai Visitor Center, and learn about the wetland.
Walking on the Boardwalk (30 minutes)
Chance to see Tancho Cranes.
Arrive in Takkobu Lake camp ground as our outdoor base.
You will stay in tent or private cabin.
Cooking experience and lunch of Ainu cultural meal with local Ainu people.
Move to Hosooka lookout which is most famous spot for fantastic view for Kushiro Wetland.
Enjoy the view from the drone filming over the wetland.
Enjoy unforgettable sunset from Hosooka lookout with a glass of champaign.
Camping style barbeque dinner with local seafood
Hokkaido Sake and Wines are prepared.
Special experience for the “Night Canoe” on Takkobu Lake under moonlight.
Back in campsite join sing and dance performance by local Ainu people.
Enjoy camp fire.
<Day 2>
Morning walk to Yumegaoka lookout which you can see the wetland and Takkobu Lake.
Enjoy coffee and breakfast with panoramic view on the lookout.
Optional activity (JPY20,000)
Canoe down on Kushiro river in the wetland with canoe guide (2 hours)
You would see dear, fox, tanuki, birds, eagle, Tancho crane and so on.
Get on private charter railway through the wetland to Kushiro town.
Enjoy lunch of Ainu imaged meal on the railway.
Afternoon walking tour in Kushiro town.
Enjoy shopping in Washo seafood market.
Transfer to Kushiro airport
